At Otter Creek Agronomy, we believe good farming comes down to one thing — making the right call at the right time. Ron Perry is a second-generation Pioneer seed seller, a nearly 20-year veteran of west central Wisconsin agriculture, and — if you ask the farmers who've worked with him — a walking historian of Eau Claire County.
Ron didn't build his reputation through marketing. He built it by showing up. By telling the truth when it wasn't what a grower wanted to hear. By knowing which fields drain slowly in a wet spring and which hybrids hold up in a tough August. That kind of knowledge doesn't come from a training manual. It comes from decades of boots-on-the-ground presence in this specific corner of Wisconsin.
When we transitioned from Otter Creek Seed Sales and Service to Otter Creek Agronomy, we didn't leave that legacy behind. We built on it. Ron's commitment to humility, honesty, and long-term relationships is still the foundation of everything we do — and it always will be.
